Hawks’ Haven Time Change:

While we are not able to eliminate risk, we are implementing the following changes to reduce risk and help keep our campers and staff as safe and healthy as reasonably possible.

  • Hawks’ Haven before and after care will no longer be offered;
  • Hawks’ Haven will now run from 8:30am-4:00pm.
    • Because of the reduced hours – tuition will be reduced  by 10%
  • All field trips have been canceled and replaced with on-campus activities..

All Summer on the Prairie Camps C-19 Changes:

We are currently planning to follow all  CDC recommendations for sanitation and safe behaviors. Therefore, we will likely be implementing the following new health procedures for all camps this summer. Official policies will be shared by June 19th.

  • Temperature screenings will be conducted daily.
  • Parents will be asked to keep their camper home if the camper exhibits a temperature of 100 degrees fahrenheit or higher or if the camper is showing any signs of illness.
  • All Campers and Staff will be required to wear masks unless participating in a rigorous cardiovascular activity (like soccer camp)
    • In these situations proper spacing will be required.
  • Only Campers and Staff will be allowed in the building.
  • We will have a staff member stationed outside fort arrivals and departures.
  • Parents will need to wait for their camper’s temperature to be taken before leaving camper at camp and confirm that the camper is healthy.
  • All groups will be kept to 10 campers or fewer.
  • We will be using improved and increased daily sanitizing efforts.
  • Students will not share supplies, snacks, or technology.
  • If a Student or Staff is found to have C-19 camp some portion of or possibly all camps will be temporarily suspended.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Jake Lipor, Summer Programs Director {}.
